Mythri Shankar Selected to Serve as Associate Program Director of the NSMC Internship

We are excited to announce that Dr. Mythri Shankar has been selected to serve as the Associate Program Director of the NSMC Internship. Dr. Shankar completed the NSMC Internship in 2021 and immersed herself in each of the rotations. She was awarded the CJASN Visual Abstract of the Year for her graphical designs. Dr. Shankar earned her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in Bangaluru, India. She completed her residency at Kempegowda Institute and nephrology fellowship at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, both in Bengaluru, India. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Nephrology, Institute of Nephro-Urology in Bengaluru, India. Dr. Shankar will help with the day to day operations of the NSMC, provide mentorship to interns, construct the curriculum, provide 1:1 assessments, and ensure the international perspective is incorporated into the program.
